Sure you can use whatever type of material you want. It makes no difference. It vaporizers still work well.
Yes you certainly can, the beauty of a vaporizer is that it strips the THC from the herb completely, regardless of the potency of the herb. Personally I enjoy a heavy potent vapor but if you prefer a light mellower dose than lower grade works just fine.
