California voters, Question regarding Prop 19, which is likely going to pass?
This year California has a proposition that would make marijuana legal (Prop 19)
If this proposition passes and you voted for it, how will you feel when the Obama administration sues the state for violating the supremacy clause of the US constitution?
Just so you folks know, I am opposed to Prop 19, I just want to know what your reaction would be if / when Obama gets involved.

I know what prop 19 promises and I know what the arguments for and against it is.
My question has nothing to do with what I think, it has to do with how you will feel if or when Obama sues.

I am against it because it is a gateway drug. Perhaps you failed to see that I even said that it would likely pass and I also posted a link to the article that made me ask the question.

Obama wouldn’t because of his reputation. Prop 19 will save california and become a trend for the rest of America. If you did you’re homework and really read the proposition you would realize it would keep more drugs out of minors hands and educate people on the facts of marijuana. Not the alcohol, tobbacco bs you’ve been fed and believe. You don’t think they knew cigarettes were bad? Really it’s all about money and you seem to be in that same hypnotized loop.
I live in CA and I’m going to vote against prop 19. Even if I did support the legalization of marijuana this bill is extremely flawed and will just increase the drug problems across America.
Come on…legalize it cali….. do not disappoint me…… also Obama would not do that since it does not involve racial profiling and legalizing it would mean Mexican cartels would lose profits, which is a benefit for both coutries.

I’m not a Cali voter. Here’s my opinion.
Those opposed to Prop 19 (some of which are in the Tea Party, he proclaim “States Rights!!”) are saying that they wouldn’t mind the President suing. What a waste of money.
Let the experiment go on for a few years. If it seems like a problem, let the California voters decide to repeal. I doubt that society will come to a screeching halt if they legalize ‘bud’ for a few years. There will always be drug abusers. It’s less expensive to treat that incarcerate. But you see, the Republican Party has the support of all law enforcement/prison guards. They say that if you lock em up, they’ll change. Too bad that argument was proven false back in the 1970’s.
Drugs are stupid. If we lock up all the drug abusers, it won’t make a difference. But….where are they getting all the bud? That’s what I wanna know!

Don’t get your hopes up. Why would obama do that after he stopped the DEA from raiding dispensaries in California. It is technically LEGAL in Denver Colorado (you can Google this by the way) although they still don’t sell it in stores like California most likely will. Why are you against prop 19? Do you want to continue to see tax paying citizens arrested for using a drug that is far less dangerous than alcohol? Do you want to continue to watch the drug dealers get paid instead of turning that money into taxes? It is currently decriminalized in 13 states, California being one of them and soon it will be legal whether you like it or not.
i used to live in California, both born and raised there till 1998, I would vote against Prop 19 but if it passed, I would demand that all healthcare providers put in their clause: If you smoke anything, be it marjiana or cigarettes or cigars or chewing tobacco, YOU are responsible for your own healthcare which means you pay cash for all your visits to the doctor. And you pay for the emphysema that you will get and you will have to pay for your death eventually.
I call all those who smoke ‘anything’ they are people dying on the installment plan, so make them pay for their own healthcare period. That way we won’t be straddled with their ‘woes and woe is me, I’m so sick with cancer….. like Michael Douglas, and Yul Brenner and Desi Arnez all did commercial saying how bad it is to smoke and drink… so does anyone get the whole picture????
We allow people to legalize the smoking pot, then we have to take care of more people who are going to be sick with lung problems. Does anyone really know as I do, that all that smoking ruins your DNA and your offspring have health problems and a slant for smoking eventually.

I know in Canada if you don’t have private medical insurance you can’t be helped either. That lie that “OHIP” free healthcare is there in ‘CAnada for everyone, is a crock of shit lies. ” I know. And if you think I am lying whatever, you can’t handle the idea that smokers tend to die early and take the innocent people like me along with them with their exhaling and second hand smoke.
Personally I have a quick comment on this: put all smokers in one big auditorium and put the place on fire and bomb it, there. done, you wanted to die on an installment plan so here we just decided you can die now rather than later.
sorry for the smokers who think they have rights to kill me along with them. I am a non-smoker and frankly don’t believe smoking is worth dying for. It’s a selfish habit and it hurts tons of people and their families.
I hate seeing parents smoke around their toddlers, infants and pets. They should have them charged with “Child abuse” and have the fines be high that it will deem a reality check. Smoking and loose your kids, or stop smoking and regain your health and your kids’ health and your family reunion.
Yeah, ooh, and we should take ALL Middle School and High School students and take them to see a person in a hospital dying of lung cancer, and also good visit to a mortuary (any one that has a man who died from lung cancer) open his chest cavity up and expose his lungs and mouth and throat to the students. That should shake them up that “THAT CAN HAPPEN TO YOU ALL”.
