I don’t see why he’d be prosecuted, but the company that employs him may decide to fire him if they don’t want their officers working at dispensaries. And if the company owns his duty gear, then they are definitely going to take it back at the end of his employment.
Probably not, if the dispensary hired him to guard it. Many medical marijuana facilities have armed guards because probability of robbery is high. So unless he has committed a crime, he should be fine.
