If prop 19 passes will I be able to buy weed?
If prop 19 passes in California will I be able to buy weed? If so where? The dispensaries or from anyone?
I read that I won’t be able to because it will still be a federal crime and so no one will sell it legally because if they pay taxes on it, that would be admitting guilt on paper to selling cannabis. (I hope that made sense)
I’m trying to decide if I should go ahead and try to get a medical marijuana recommendation now or wait until prop 19 passes and not pay the $100 for a rec.
If you want weed that bad what are you worrying about it being legal for. If your not in a condition for medical purposes, then all you are dreaming of is to become a pot head who can easily get high. You will be the same as a pill popping alcoholic person. That law wouldn’t change that. From criminal to open drug feen. Save for your brick.

Still can buy from anyone. Marijuana is still illegal Federally but the State of CA can write the laws for what happens in CA. CA is hoping to collect sales tax on marijuana sales. It is the #1 reason for the ballot issue! If passed any CA can grow at home tax free in their 25×25 foot garden.
ABSOLUTELY wrong – dispensaries can pay taxes with out a problem from the Federal gov.
When a business pays taxes they are not admitting to on paper the product they are paying on. Read the IRS code – it requires that a tax payer list any kick backs, bribes or money earned illegally.
