I AM USING THE “12PLANT HYDROPONIC GOES HYPER PONIC”.VIDEO LIGHT AND I AM GIVING EQUAL TO 3 LIGHTS WITH ONE REFLECTOR SEE THE VIDEO AND IT SHOWS HOW A REFLECTOR SHOULD WORK. I AM USING A MOVER AND GETTING A HEDGE OF TOPS,LEVEL GROWTH .THIS SYSTEM IS WELL THOUGHT OUT!!!

@Schpeet1 you need a ballast with any HID or it will explode or burn itself out. Without a ballast the bulb will try to pull way too much power. The ballast will make it safe.Watch for air flow too with your closet. The heat will buld up faster than you think

LED is the best. You can grow your plants right on them!
I’ll just get a couple of seeds, plant them, put them in a closet with a 400w bulb, some silver foil and an old fan.
just want a plant or two to smoke, so i guess i dont have to get ballasts and stuff =D

To all growers who don’t know, when handling hps lights, please please please dont touch it with your bare hands. If you do, gently wipe with a clean cloth before screwing in and using. They may explode if you dont 😮

Lol yea. Get a closet cover it in aluminum put a high watt CFL light in your socket use 6 month premade soil (look on the bag to see if it has the nutrients your looking for) start with a small soil pot and move larger as your plant grows. Keep the plant 5-8 inches away from the light at all times. You can use a table, books..ect to raise the plant as needed. Use distilled water (you can purchase cheap from almost anywhere) and spray spray twice a day and then so on as directed.
this is too much work for a stoner like me…..i know theres easier ways to do this….
@sxnoss40 yeah. if you dont want to use hps or mh just use cfls you dont need a ballast for those
do i really need a ballast for like 1 250 or 400 watt bulb? im not a serious grower. i dont plan on having more then all of like 1 plant.
Notice to all growers!! Vermiculite has been banned dude to hiddin poison found about 5 years ago. Its not healthy to plants and humans.
