Don’t legalize marijuana. Make alcohol and tobacco illegal. People are making a big deal about marijuana being illegal and alcohol/tobacco legal so just make it all illegal and they won’t have anything to complain about.
If marijuana gets legalized, the government will do the same as they do with cigarettes. The feds and states will tax the hell out of it, the FDA will regulate it, you will have to be a certain age to buy it, etc. Don’t kid yourselves. The gov’t could give two shits about what it does or doesn’t do to you; they need money, and if legalizing the stuff gets it for them, then they’ll do it. But don’t think you can light up anywhere, either. The anti-smoking nazi’s will see to that.

@cobraopts7 i tHink you still get the other cannibinoids, CBD and CBN, but most people dont mention them when they talk about their weed, just the THC.

Has anyone heard of vaporizing marijuana? THC vaporizes at a lower temperature then is required to combust the bud. You inhale all the THC in a vapor, eliminating ALL carcinogens. Prohibition is profitable, and I hate it.

@zargonzo101 4) I don’t know who the tax man is in your county but there are not many oversights when it comes to tax dollars. People are taxed for produce that they grow in their gardens & sell, Why would or should it be any different growing pot ? If it’s legal, yes people should be able to grow pot freely & be taxed for what they sell.
@zargonzo101 1) The legalization of marijuana will reduce the demand for alcohol, tobacco & pharmaceuticals which are all very harmful drugs. Marijuana has been wrongfully & illegally classified, it’s a medicinal herb, not a drug. 2) It will start a whole new industry. How can that not bring in tax revenue ? 3) It’s legal for people to grow tobacco & make whiskey for their own consumption, but do they ? No, it’s easier to go to the store & buy it. It will be the same way with pot.
I’m that old. I remember actually watching those cigarette commercials as a child. I’ve smoked cigarettes & pot damn near that long also. So where is the memory loss ? The cancer ? The psychosis ? Plant the seed ! Free the weed !
Basically, you’ll be paying twice as much for a less potent marijuana, if it is legalized. Keep Marijuana illegal, and just keep smoking it.
Everyone makes the point that alcohol and cigarettes are ok, but why isn’t weed? Entirely different issues, and making one mentally addictive drug legal, won’t make alcohol and tobacco any better.
No, Marijuana WILL NOT bring in tax revenue at all. If marijuana is legalized, it will be taxed greatly, and oversight over people who grow their own marijuana will dissipate, causing then to grow freely, and sell it untaxed, but still selling it for more money.
