Why are there medical marijuana shops?
States like California and Arizona allow medical marijuana by prescription or some type of medical marijuana card from a doctor.
There is now these shops that supposedly sell marijuana for medical use.
My question is that is why the medical marijuana is not received from a doctor or a regular pharmacy? Why from some regular people selling marijuana from a little corner shop instead from a regular drug store pharmacy?
Do people who are prescribed other drugs like morphine or whatever other strong prescription drugs get their morphine with a morphine card from a morphine shop?
No they get it from a doctor or pharmacy.
So why would a prescribed marijuana not be handled like any other prescribed drug?
Shops are there so you can legally buy it i guess. It is a gray area for sure.
Because big pharma cant patent real marijuana the way they have patented their synthetic thc marinol pill.
If they cant patent it, they cant charge 1500$ a month for what is roughly equal to about 50$ of real marijuana.
They also know that while they say they have reformulated marinol to not produce a high, its pretty narcotic, and in weird mind numbing ways that really arent associated with real marijuana…. No one is willing to pay those prices.
Big pharma, the ama, fda and dea are all against medical marijuana because it cuts into their profits, not only from marinol, but from the plethora of other narcotics that are more costly and chemically addictive that they sell.
I come to this conclusion because I have actually been on marijuana, marinol, morphine, ativan, xanax, compazine phenegran, oxy, and a few others. I know the effects, I know the prices.
I also know that in their attack against medical marijuana, all three focus on the issues of smoked marijuana, screaming that marijuana can never be medicine. They forget to mention that no doctor recomends smoking, they recomend vaporizing or cooking in food.
Then they interject about how they have made marinol, and its reformulated to not produce a high and that is why no one wants their answer to medical marijuana, making the entire med marijuana movement a fake joke for drug addicts.
My problem with that, is that I can PROMISE you they dont care about how high I am. With the string of morphine, oxy, ativan and other narcotics I was given, they dont give a shit how high you are. In fact, morphine doesnt even kill pain, it makes you so high that you dont care that your in pain.
Marijuana could realistically challenge all of those meds.
THAT is why the fda, ama, and dea do not support it. They have a long history of doing that. Check out how long they screamed stevia was unsafe and not suitable for use in food. The fda makes a deal with CocaCola, and suddently its completely safe, in many drinks and foods and sold at every walmart.
They are doing the same thing with electronic cigs, trying to ban them so they dont loose profits from tobacco.
All I see are $$ driven motives to lie and protect their own pockets.
