LAREDO, Texas — Agents seized 2,900 pounds of marijuana worth $2.3 million at a checkpoint on Interstate 35 north of Laredo, the U.S. Border Patrol said Friday.
A service dog alerted Border Patrol agents to a tractor-trailer just before midnight Thursday. Agents inspected the semitrailer and found more than 147 bundles of marijuana mixed in with a shipment of fruit juice.
The driver, the vehicle and the drugs were turned over to special agents with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Border Patrol said.

Johnny Sutton should be investigated. He’s probablygetting paid by the drug smugglers or the Mexican Govement. The agents that cought the crimminal illegals will probably end up in jail. THIS IS THE MOST WETBACK LOVING ADMINISTRATION THIS COUNTRY HAS EVER HAD.
