How much Marijuana do you have to smoke for it to show up in a hair test?
About a year and a half ago I was stupid and took a few hits off of a joint about 3 times within a week, I dont think I even really inhaled that much because I didn’t feel a buzz. I never didn’t it before then, and never did it after then. I have long hair and haven’t cut it since then and due to health problems, I can’t cut it. I have a hair drug test tomorrow for a job, I was wondering if that will show up on the test. Also, my family members that I live with smoke Marijuana constantly, I’ve never smoked it with them, but I have no choice but to be around it. I was also wondering if that will show up on the test like I smoke it? Please don’t answer unless you really know. Thank you all for your time.

Well it all depends on how fast your hair has grown and how long ago you cut it. But anything like that will show up in your hair yes..
Regarding you smoking a year and a half ago, that will not show up on a drug test. Drug tests usually go back a few months, it doesn’t even go a year back(it doesn’t matter the length of your hair). As far as being around people who smoke weed, that actually might get into your system and cause you to test positive for pot, but it depends on how much you have inhaled.
9-delta tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is fat soluble so if you took 3 hits a several months ago, no one is gonna know. the longest time THC might stay in your body is like 4 weeks at the most for super heavy users that quit cold turkey.
