although many people keep saying that Cali will legalize weed, this will NEVER happen, because of the f*ckin federal government. and state can’t beat federal laws
Prop. 19 does NOT legalize marijuana.
You are allowed to have UNDER one ounce on you and only receive a non criminal penalty.
Over 1 gram will still be a misdemeanor charge – criminal record.
Selling to a minor or driving stoned will still be a criminal charge.

finally now liberal democrats will have a reason to fight for state rights. the good news is that the federal government might not want to enforce it anyways. Obama is caught on the record saying basically he inhaled pot smoke and that was the point, which is in response the the former president W. Bush’s remark that he smoked it, but did not inhale( because that is sooo common to do or something), up in Alaska the feds dont get involved till after you are caught with 3 ounces, other than that so long as you are not growing or selling possession is legal to 3 ounces. but its a de facto law make my court ruling not actually passed by the state congress. that should give you a glimpse of what they might do.
Interesting how the Tea Partiers talk about keeping the Big Government out of their lives, and keeping Big Government out of the decisions you and your doctor make… except medical marijuana, except abortion, etc.
