Adderall questions. (I abused an older prescription of mine?
Current Situation:
At 2 AM on 3/12, I took eight 15 mg Adderall tablets(not XR), or 150 mg of Adderall total. My stomach wasn’t empty or full. I had eaten a Poptart around 1 AM or so. It’s 7:51 AM as I’m typing this and I don’t feel too great. I didn’t sleep(I probably could’ve gone to sleep but I stayed up to talk with my friend). Since about 3 AM my mouth has been really dry. This is a common side effect of Adderall but it has lasted much longer then usual, considering I usually take one 20 mg tablet with breakfast everyday. If you’re too lazy to do the math, I’ll do it for you. I have taken eight times my regular dose. I know it can cause a loss of appetite but my stomach now feels empty(This is at 7:55 AM on 3/12). I have been constantly drinking water but it renders useless in fixing my dry mouth. I also feel kinda dizzy when I walk. No vision problems, just feels odd to walk. I feel extremely weak at the moment in my stomach, while my legs and arms only feel slightly weak.
My two questions:
1. How long can I expect these effects to last? (if exact time is n/a, a range of times would be appreciated)
2. Does Adderall show up in drug tests, and if so, what would it be identified as?
3. If the drug test is the kind bought from a pharmacy that identifies cocaine, marijuana, meth, etc., would Adderrall show up as a false positive for one since it’s an amphetamine?
4. Would a drug test bought from a pharmacy show the amount one has in there system or is there no way to measure that?
5. How long does it take for a 160 mg dose of Adderall to be cleared out of my system?
6. How can I reduce the severeness or existence of one or some of these symptoms? (Medicine I can take, things I can eat/drink, etc.)

Age: 14 years old
Height: 5′ 4″
Weight: approx. 120-130 lb.
Gender: Male
Race/Ethnicity: Caucasian
Prescriptions: Adderall 20 mg tablet once a day in the morning. (The 10 mg tablets that I took were what was left of my older prescription from January 2011)
I also have some mild to medium ADD/ADHD tendencies and a few mild OCD tendencies.
Ok…I’ll TRY to answer some if not most of your answers to the best of my ability….Question 1.You can expect these symptoms to last for about 2 to 3 days…TOPS! Question 2. The only way adderall would show up in a drug test is IF a doctor were to specifically order an amphetamine screen/drug test.And,that’s how it would also be identified ‘amphetamine’. Question 3. Not sure,unless the drug test specifically has a test for ‘amphetamines’/’meth’,and that would show as a positive result.Question 4. No.The drug store drug test would ONLY show a positive result,and not the amount of drug in the persons system. Question 5. Not sure.’Google’ the half life of adderall,and multiply by 2.Sorry I don’t know the answer,but I did my best to help you. Question 6. There isn’t much you can do to relieve your currents symptoms..drink plenty of fluids,rest and make sure you eat a well balanced diet.But,other than that? Not too much that you can do other than to allow the medicine to work it’s way out of your system on it’s own.Your height,weight and age do not make a difference.The medication will simply have to work it’s way out of your system.Take care.
Your symptoms may start to increase over time this morning seeing how you took 8 tablets at 2am.I know you said the adderall was immediate release,but even so….you may start to experience more symptoms even now at 8:38am.I wouldn’t do this again.All the best.
