California Push to Legalize Marijuana in 2009!
swstreetrides.com ======================== The newest push by California legislatures to legalize and tax the sales and use of marijuana in 2009. Since the state is hurting by a large deficit along with law enforcement programs against marijuana that end up being very costly, this proposes the legalization of marijuana along with a hefty legal tax on the sales of it. Personally, I can see this being a great idea, and the best time to legalize it. This will allow people to purchase marijuana, possess it, and use it according to the same laws that govern the possession and use of alcohol. You must be 21 years or older to possess and us marijuana along with the same DUI standards applying. Very smart.

decriminilization will never work because it sends a mixed message… straight legalize or dont. doesnt really matter to me.. i smoke the same either way.. and i dont agree with getting a dui for being stoned.. no more blunt rides? no way.. plus u dont realize how much big business will profit because they will completely take over the marijuana industry.. either way, love life and smoke a bowl
it is definately a step forward, but i dont believe its enough.
our government wont be arresting non-violent drug users anymore, but we will still have billions of dollars going towards the black market, there will still be just as much violence on our southern borders (in fact, i believe violence will increase in this scenario), and it will be even more available to minors.
