Can taking a quick wiff of marijuana cause you to fail a drug test?
The other day I walked into a smoke shop looking to buy some necessities for my hookah and I realized the whole shop smelled of freshly smoked marijuana. I’m sure they were smoking it in the back. I quickly realized that shit, I need to get out of here because I’m due for a drug test soon for a job that I am applying to. Should I be worried?? I haven’t touched marijuana in over 2 years!
Actually, I really doubt it. I am not a scientist nor a doctor, but I really doubt it if you were in for only a very short time.
I would say defiantly not. I have gone through many drug tests and not passed many of them unfortunately. Being that you did not inhale it first hand, the amount of THC (active drug in marijuana) in your blood will be so insignificant no drug test would be able to pick it up. No, you have nothing to worry about.
