I think that they test the blood that you give for different things. You need to regester to give blood and the bottles are marked. the fact that you smoked marijuana, if it comes up on the blood test they know who you are.
They will not test you for that or ask you if you have. So I assume you can. I have had a full load of beer on and they still took mine. I hope they gave it to a babtist.

PLEASE DO NOT EVEN THINK of donating blood if you’ve smoked marijuana within the PAST 7 to 8 MONTHS or have taken any other drugs. There are over 400 chemicals in marijuana and some of them can stay in the tissues of the body for at least this time period. It would be very unethical for you to donate blood as another individual’s health and, possibly life, may be depending upon it.
Marijuana is much more injurious to health than is currently recognized. It may have serious long term health effects, as yet undiscovered, as it contains many substances that are toxic to the body. Everytime you smoke it you are damagaing brain cells.
These cannot be replaced.
Try and find something more positive and life-enhancing to do with yourself and you’ll be happier for it down the road.

It’s fine to give blood after smoking marijuana, thc only remains in the blood for 10 to 12 hours after smoking. Even if it was still in your blood, it would not matter in the process.
