I have gone over breaking it down and checking the seals and they are airtight. I have a mini base intact hookah. I can produce bubbles in the vase, but no smoke. Can anyone help?
Yes, I do have a screen. I also have tried foil. and I only have 1 hose so I’ve checked that for blockages, and it’s fine. How do I paste a Pic of it for you?

If there is more than one tube for pulling the smoke through, then all but the one in use needs to be plugged.
When you broke it down did you make sure that the tube you are using isn’t clogged?
Make sure you aren’t packing the bowl too tightly to where it would inhibit (or totally prohibit) air flow to the base. Also, are you using a Vortex/Tangiers bowl or a medium clay bowl? If you aren’t careful when packing a Vortex or Tangiers (or other brand funnel) bowl you will block the air holes in the spire. Make sure you have a tight seal with all grommets.
Are you getting smoke in the base at all? If so, then it’s likely a hose port or hose mouthpiece issue. If you’re not even getting smoke in your base then it’s a bowl/packing/heating/bowl grommet/stem issue. Make sure you’re using good coals. I always used Hookah John’s coconut coals. Most tobacco I could use two to three pieces of coal. You also want to make sure they are so hot they are glowing orange on all sides before placing them on your bowl.
