I imagine California will be making some money in tourist bucks that other states will lose.
While Californians are dreamin the rest of us will be in a sober and coherent state. Hopefully most states will be smart enough to not follow California in anything they do.

Big time. It’s scary how something that is a fine or ignored in liberal parts of America can still mean years of prison time in the less sane parts.
I’m afraid that it will result in more product being moved from California to those other states, and with all the problems that entails.
No. NO other state “needs” to react.
We are the United States of America, not the Federal Government of America that Happens to have 50 units called States!
Our entire political system is based upon the idea that each state has their own RIGHTS (a.k.a. “States Rights”) to deal with issues as they (and their residents) see fit. The Federal Gooberment was SUPPOSED to be merely a benign overseer to make sure each state didn’t step on other states’ toes.
So, as far as Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, Montana, or ANY other state is concerned, California can go off on its own tangent as long as they don’t stomp on the toes of ANY other state. And IF legalizing pot DOES stomp on toes, THEN the other states will react to California accordingly.
1. REPEAL the 16th Amendment!!
