Marijuana, is not a totally good medicine. Well, for sure, those who are used to smoking it might prove their part. But smoking being open in the public is not really good. It has been proven that secondhand smokers are faced to lots of diseases when they inhaled smokes from the smokers. So how could it ever be beneficial?
No, it is still a burning object. It should not be smoked near flammable stuff, or in rooms where air quality is a concern.
Marijuana stinks waaay more than any form of legal tobacco I know. We could smell it inside our house when kids in the park DOWN THE STREET were smoking it and you can easily tell if your neighbor is doing it, if windows are open then the neighbor’s of neighbors can smell it.
It shouldn’t be allowed in all public places. (and if it becomes legalized it won’t be) If anything they should have special “bars” where you’d have to keep it in, away from residential tracks….Either way it stinks and that’s not even addressing the issue of asthmatics, folks with breathing problems, or people allergic to smoke etc

Like every other inhaled fine particle matter, marijuana causes lung cancer when inhaled. So just like second hand tobacco smoke, it shouldn’t be allowed in places where it endangers others. Beyond that, we allow cultural restrictions on the consumption of alcohol, so it is easy to imagine the same restrictions for a drug.

I would assume that there would be similar basic courtesy rules that are currently followed by a large majority of cigarette smokers. This doesn’t have to be a matter of the law.

Um I know I certainly don’t want my toddler to end up with THC in his system because the guy sitting next to us is smoking weed and it’s blowing in his direction. Nor do I want minors to be hotboxed in a dining facility!

I dont think in every public place. Already there are huge rules and laws about smoking in bars for example. But I guess smoking in the open aired places like parks is acceptable. food for thought tho
