Well if you are writing a essay on why it should be legal, here i go. There are many reasons it should be legal and few why it shouldn’t. The only reason for not is because it is a mind altering drug. And it should be legal cause it does less harm than alcohol, scientifically prov in And could bring in more revenue than alcohol ever could. It helps medical issues. It is not addictive and would replace the need to cut down all the trees. Hemp could be used for paper and some furniture.
i believe that they should not because as someone who prefers bud to alcohol, i think it is a personal choice just like drinking. And if you smoke weed recreationally you should not be considered a pothead. You could say the same thing as if someone takes a couple shots at a bar one night and that is the only drinking they do and call them a alcoholic.
