Ken White is a medical marijuana activist and in this video a law student. Ken White has since become a lawyer and has run for public office. If you are stopped by law enforcement, what do you do? Ken tells Al Olthof and Red your rights to keep the police from terrorizing you into confessing to a crime. Cannabis was made illegal because the paper industry was split between the hemp and the wood pulp factions. The wood pulp people had more money and won, which caused a negative ripple effect in our society such as the loss of a valuable medicine. Since the prohibition of cannabis began the cancer rates have grown at an alarming rate. Cannabis is used for thousands of purposes and it’s loss of use has caused great hardship to everyone. It is time for truth to prevail and prohibition to stop.
A Law can only be enforced if it is constitutional. You can argue your case all the way to the supreme court. The problem is most people plea to lower courts and wave their rights to a fair trial. NEVER talk to Police ESPECIALLY if you are INNOCENT innocent people are convicted every day. Your best defense is a good Education know how the court systems work. Know you RIGHTS!!!!

There are without a doubt ass hole cops – I’ve known many of them. I can only go by the kind of cop I was. Some cops only see black and white with no grey area and I believe that’s wrong. Ya, cops are like any other job – every job has ass holes who make the others look bad. You are right, if you are stopped for NO REASON you don’t have to talk but an ass hole cop will then find a reason to screw with you so it’s much easier just to cooperate and chalk it up to a dick abusing his power.
Hey i dont have a problem with good cops, the ones that actually do there job right and dont try to fuck people over for quotas or jollys. Dont deny there are bad cops out there who use intimidation and coercion to get what they want. They assume that just because they have a bad and gun if you dont do as they say they can arrest you. You dont have to do a god damn thing a cop asks you to do if they just pull you over and start asking questions. There are good cops out there but not enough.

to fund studies to make pot look good.
Most studies are funded by governments trying to justify their prohibitive laws, so when even THEY come up with negative results I tend to accept those.
