Don’t know personally, but take a look at the Proposition. I guarantee the specifics will be outlined in the bill.
If I had to guess Marijuana would still need to be sold at licensed dispensaries like the ones that already exist in CA, but I’m not sure, and have no idea when the law would go into effect. Probably not on 11/3. Most likely 1/1/2011, or sometime later in 2011.

From what this site says it will basically be like alcohol and regulated to a certain amount, price, age and even hours a distribution. This site says that business’ will be able to sell up to one ounce of marijuana? You and I and everyone else knows that one ounce per business is insane. And VOTE YES TO PROP 19!
it won’t show up at gas stations all to quickly, but will eventually, however the stuff at the gas stations won’t be top grade. what will probably happen, is once its legalized shops will open up and what are currently dispensaries may open to the general public.
