Effective today, medical marijuana shops in Grand Junction cannot sell marijuana or marijuana-infused products as a result of a ban approved by city voters. Anyone convicted of selling marijuana from a dispensary is subject to a fine of $1,000 per day and a year in jail, according to a letter that is to be distributed today to medical marijuana shops by the city.
