i bought a mini one hose hookah yesterday from this indian store near my house. it hits fine and i get a lot of smoke and i love it but it doesnt bubble. is there something that makes it bubble? does the bubbling even do anything?

You have to make sure that the water level is higher than the intake inside the pipe. You did put water in it didn’t you?
yeah check the water level and try to hit it harder dosent really make a difference

If smoke is passing through the water, there should be bubbles: the only explanation is that you haven’t filled it up enough. The bubbling cools the smoke, which makes smoking more pleasurable, and healthier for the throat and lungs. If you’re feeling decadent, use vodka instead of water, as it cools the smoke much better than water and enhances the sweet flavours in the smoke. For a really cool smoke you can add some icecubes.
