I don’t smoke the stuff, but I don’t have a problem with it becoming either. I have said many years ago that the gov doesn’t want to legalize what it can not control. You can grow it yourself, and it is a lot easier than having your own aparatus for distilling alcohol. Alcohol kills more people every year than weed. I mentioned this in my law class, and I was conveniently ignored.

DARE is the biggest failure of a program, however, it’s highly ironic how it sometimes pays off. A DARE officer passed a joint around a classroom and threatened the students that if it wasn’t returned by the end of class, he’d search everyone. At the end of class, he had TWO joints. So how does the prohibition of marijuana keep it out of ANYONE’S hands?
If you knew the law and how to properly apply it you could smoke weed. The statutes against weed are statutes not law. The statutes control Corp. U.S. and the legal entities it has jurisdiction over.
