@Armornone Marijuana isn’t “dangerous,” and the only reason for that “schedule 1” classification that you like to bandy about, is ancient political bullshit. The American people are beginning to see through bullshit like yours, and that annoys the fuck out of you. You’d better get used to that kind of annoyance, because there are more of us on this side of the issue than there have ever been, and we aren’t going anywhere.

Do you think we won’t be back? Do you honestly think this isn’t going to pop up in other states? @Armornone Those two statements are irreconcilable. If you don’t like the government, then you shouldn’t like it when they throw people in jail for victimless crimes. If you think weed should be illegal, then you need a robust government and high taxes to enforce that law.
@Armornone People shouldn’t be fired for what they do on their own time. As long as they’re not getting baked at work, it shouldn’t be a problem. People who smoke marijuana are not “drug addicts.” Marijuana is not physically addictive, people don’t crave it like they crave harder drugs, or even legal drugs like nicotine. All you’re proving in bringing up the DEA is that the DEA are dicks who enforce an unjust law.

You know when those workers for JEEP were found doing marijuan, they were fired and they build the cars. I am sure your boss would like to know that he has hired a drug addict. @Armornone I smoke marijuana every single day, and I am a sucessfull recording engineer and i make a decent salary, and live in a middle class neighbourhood. It is easy to discriminate against users if you have never done it. Ill say right now though … if you havent done it, dont. It will just make your life more complicated. Dont do it unless you are ready to handle that. HELL of a lot better that cigarettes though. Hell of alot better in dead. I am talking from personal life experience.Peace

The situation really sucks but think of this. Why should someone who is dying and in the exact same situation but lived a clean life without the using of dangerous illicit schedule 1 type drugs like Marijuana and heroine have to die?
I mean, I wish there was a way to save them both but if you have to choose 1 over another. Why would you pick the drugged out hippie vs the guy who did not choose to do marijuana and thus has a better chance of survival.
