Proposition 19 Was an Upset, But Not a Loss
California’s Initiative to legalize marijuana was defeated in the November 2, 2010 election. The final poll results were 46.2% Yes and 53.8% No. This, however, isn’t a loss… We opened so many doors with this initiative. The whole world was talking about proposition 19. This proves that it is within our reach to get marijuana legal, and you can count on seeing many more initiatives, not only in California but other states as well. This isn’t the end, we’ve got to keep fighting the fight and spreading the truth.

The no voters are missing the truth about legalizing pot. If your not sure about something look for an example. Take B.C. in Canada for instance, pot is not legal but they are a bit lacks on personal amounts. the revenue is such a huge part of the economy here it would do serious financial damage to the whole province if they toughen the laws. The police force benefits from seized assets. I do not smoke weed but the no voters did not do their homework. Oh wait, do they do homework in the U.S.

All I can say is that my grandmothers life was saved from medical THC pills, I no longer give a damn if californians complain about being broke, and cannibus must continue to serve as a symbol for the rise against oppression and injustice.
