Actually some conservatives believe in it too. Most people I know who think it should be policy are Libertarians though.
I am conservative and favor decriminalization. We waste way too much money dealing with pot smokers.
We can do that and win for sure or win at the ballot box anyway, as you said either way is a victory but I would prefer just to beat them straight on NOv 2nd and again in 012 it makes it some how more enjoyable in my opinion
You should, but it wont in any way guarantee you the votes of liberals, as we’re liberals, we believe in freedom & equality, not tax cuts for the rich & authoritarianism.
I assume as people who claim to believe in cutting government spending and increasing revenue, I would think it would be one of the first things you would do. But since another of the first things you would do is increase military spending by taking it out of “entitlement” budgets, you still don’t get our vote. No matter how high a liberal gets, they will not vote for people who forced their grandparents or parents to go without medical care.
Many conservatives support the legalization of marijuana. It is just common sense to legalize it.
No Cons should legalize weed simply because the cost of keeping it illegal outweigh the questionable benefits of keeping it illegal
