What is the sticky stuff on rolling papers?
Is it the same sort of gum arabic or sugar based gums used on envelopes? If so, what is the toxicity to the lungs when burned?

what ever any paper uses it can’t be any worse than burning tobacco or the paper itself. You are on a fools errand, no offense.
I like rice papers but the glue isn’t so good all the time
so zig zag is your best bet
