And if so- would it matter- will they still take it? can they hand it over to the police?

& if they wanted to, they could so give it to the police!
They wont hand it to the police, but they wont allow you to donate blood. My suggestion is dont donate blood for at least 3-4 months, then they wont detect it. Unless of course you smoke some more 😛
