You Docs: Risks in taking medical marijuana
The herb’s transformation into an all-purpose healer has gotten way out of hand. Among our concerns: Using pot instead of real medical care just isn’t smart. There’s no good evidence that it helps high blood pressure, diabetes and Alzheimer’s, not to mention osteoporosis, sleep apnea and drug-resistant bacterial infections.
