Sorry it failed, but 2012 will have more youth showing up. I have given and will continue to give to it, even tho I’m in Maine. All I have to say is, the Yes on 19 folks need to regroup, get another proposition out there, and bring it up again.

@SpaceTasteMedical its because so many old people vote. cuz they have nothing to do. the world has completely passed them by. like my grandma takes over an hour to vote because she cant work the machine. seriously? those are the people largely deciding laws? if you cut them out Prop 19 would pass in a second.
it will never be legal because it would result in free thought. the government dont want you to think freely they want you to think what youre told.
What hurts the most is that certain growers and “drug dealers” actually voted prop.19 down because they make all of their income from it. That is BULLSHIT! This herb is meant to be shared and enjoyed, not a source of income.

@ChaseRocker I’m more likely to change my my with proof of your claim that pot can be deadly rather than insults. Also, government drug policy websites arn’t enough I need independent research, since the government has billions of dollars at stake in this.

You sound desperate in your attempt at convincing someone. Your argument of it’s a luxury that people buy when they should pay their bills? Come on. So is Taco Bell. So is a cell phone. So is an internet connection. And yes, people can get addicted to any repetitive action that makes them feel good OR bad. It’s psychological though, not a result of the THC. Certain things are addictive, nicotine, etc. but not THC.
