Can I get in trouble if my room mate has a medical marihuana card and smoke weed?
I am looking for a new room mate but one friend I have has a medical marijuana card, smokes bud n grows the legally allowed amount of plants. I go to college and if I have any sort of drug on me I lose my loans and grant money forever. Am I at risk if I take my friend in as a new room mate?

Don’t ask or involve the police. I am a former Medical Marijuana patient. If the Federal government can possibly arrest you, they will. If they can’t find a reason, they will invent one. They especially love to arrest people who have a legal exemption permit. You are guilty until dead (for which you will be arrested).
