I cant remember if any were published journals. I do not really believe it to be honest. I have since started smoking MJ again and Im getting no worse than I was. If it was the case than I would have been sick alot more Im sure.
Ive heard about the antibacterial effects of smoking MJ so I can see how it can be beneficial. I wish there was more info on MJ and Lyme and also wish the guv here in canada would issue medical cards for those wjith Lyme:)
@Vapezilla Anything to back that statement up? I think MJ can help amazingly with people with neurological lyme, as MJ go’s to the brain and is anti-bactrial so it much stop the lyme temporially, because i dont get brain fog when i smoke MJ.
I have Lyme Disease and use to be an avid MJ smoker before i was diagnosed. I stopped due to the reasoning that MJ supressess the immune system and that the disease would take longer to get rid of or it would end up getting worse.
Can anybody comment on the truth to this reasoning or if it would be detrimental to my recovery?

poor guy…I recently started using medicinal marijuana for my Bi Polar symptoms, as well as my asburgers. I was on 6 different medications daily, 3 times a day each, and I was a zombie. I weighed 230 pound and was very overweight. I replaced all of my other medications with medicinal marijuana and I’ve actually lost 80 pounds in about 3 months, because I’m not on the meds that make me too tired to exersize, or even funcition in general. They also made my body retain calories that I would have
otherwise been burning off, and I was eating ALL THE TIME. I couldn’t control it because the medications were literally making me eat whenever I was conscious enough to do so. Then I swiched like I said, and I’m better than ever. I’m emotionally stable, and my social anxiety from the asburgers is gone. just gone. Medical marijuana saved my life. I would have died from being so fat, or I would have killed myself because I was literally like a zombie all the time (clearly except for eating people)
