@madpaintbalerx You should know that there is not an effective way to extract enough THC (which medically has never been proven to help ADD kids) to make a difference helping kids with ADD. All this quack wants to do is get pot legalized so she can toke up. Active kids are always labeled ADD and drugs are the answer. Sorry don’t buy that arguement! Kids act up because they are bored, not because they have something medically wrong with them.
@maxsimpson The only reason it’s illegal is due to past fear and misunderstanding. Propaganda caused it to be criminalized in the first place. It impairs you no more than alcohol, and alcohol leads to liver problems and alcoholism, so in my mind, it’s a crime to have one legal, the other illegal (though I do not support stoners who use it because they are bored).
@Beachman42 There is a difference between taking 10 hits of weed and getting incredibly stoned, and taking a light dosage to counter the affects of ADD.

FUCK! Thank you to MSNBC and this pediatrician….I tell my parents so much that pot (in the correct dosage), and contrary to their belief, DOES help my ADD. It’s nice to see that other people are exposing the TRUTH behind what the government has LIES TO US ABOUT FOR MANY YEARS! Please vote YES on in November for the legalization of marijuana in California! It will take all the violence and bullshit off the streets that everyone sees occurring right now over this idiotic War on Drugs….

I started ingesting marijuana during grade 9 (first semester) exams, periodically. From there i was the top student of everything but Language and History.
present time, i see a huge problem with the education system. Law and truthful History should be a must. Lies and Fairy Tails are a problem today. To tell a lie to have control, is so wrong.

eh ADHD isn’t as bad as they say, i’ve had ADHD since I was little, and while possibly limiting me in school due to my short attention span the perscribed shit didn’t exactly help..I’ve been perscribed everything from Ritalin to Adderall and so many in between i can’t even remember.I use cannabis almost daily, and I must say that the stigma attached to it is idiotic and ignorant. The ignorami point on view on cannabis is stupid in my opinion,aside from the smoking part. I say legalize Cannabis.

I am a 16 year old boy, I have been diagnosed with ADHD since i was a kid. I was prescribed Adderall XR, it worked pretty good. I also recreationally use marijuana, and it treats my ADHD better than the Adderall.

We need more doctors to stand up and speak! Though, DEA and our government gives the final rule. Do those guys go through 8 or more years of MEDICAL School? HELL no.
Unfortunately Dr. Claudia Jensen passed away a year or so later from breast cancer. Hopefully someone has/will step in to take her place on this issue. It really does help ADD, and is more safe, healthy and less addicting than most of the prescribed medications to battle ADD. I speak from experience.

ya same here! i would smoke during lunch in school during finals and still maintained honor roll, it makes school more enjoyable, and gives you different views of thinking instead of being bias.
This is fucking amazing! I’ve been saying this for so nearly 10 years now, I aws diagnosed with ADHD/ADD type 2 and for the past 8 years, Cannabis has been the drug to fix all my problems. I was given many different preparations of Ritalin and other now banned drugs as a young teenager, and these all only acted to give me chronic insomnia, that even to this day haunts me.
This gives me a glimmer of hope, as I’m made to feel like a criminal just so I can lead a normal life.
